All of these folks are part of the Word of Faith/Prosperity Gospel & The New Apostolic Reformation movements, and are false teachers, wolves in sheep's clothing, teaching a false gospel and a different Jesus. They are, from left to right:

Hello, I’m glad your calling out false teacher such as Joseph Prince and Joyce Meyer, but Dr. Michael Brown isn’t one. I’ve studied his theology and he doesn’t support the prosperity or NAR movements. He’s simply a charismatic, which isn’t heresy; it’s just different from some Christian’s pneumatological standpoint. He’s a very rational preacher, so to hear this is concerning. Please remove him lest your own perspective be proven false.

Hello Michael!
Thank you for writing and sharing your concerns about Dr. Brown being included in the “Wolf Alert #1.” You state he doesn’t support the prosperity and NAR movements. I believe you are only partially correct in this. Dr. Brown is listed as a National Council Member Apostle with the NAR United States Council of Apostolic Leaders, an organization created by C. Peter Wegner, the Charismatic leader who coined the phrase, “New Apostolic Reformation” or NAR. So not only is Dr. Brown part of the NAR, he is a ranking Apostle in the NAR. I don’t believe he could hold such a prestigious position in the NAR while not supporting the NAR.

With regard to the Prosperity / Word of Faith movement, yes, Dr. Brown has repeatedly denounced the practices and beliefs attached to these movements. However, he refuses to publicly denounce men such as Kenneth Copeland as false teachers and false prophets. He instead prefers to call them Christians who have taught and prophesied incorrectly. Not only does he refuse to obey Scripture by refusing to mark them out by exposing them (Eph.5:11; Rom.16:17-18; etc) and thus protect his multitude of followers; but instead he publicly supports these false teachers and false prophets. Men like these teach and promote a gospel other than the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in Scripture, stating that by His death Jesus guarantees physical healing & good health, as well financial prosperity. These are unbiblical additions to the gospel, they are a different gospel, and in Galatians 1 the Bible curses anyone who puts forth a different gospel such as these men teach. And in spite of all this, Dr. Brown continues to support and promote these teachers and preachers in the Prosperity / Word of Faith movement.

Dr. Michael Brown is, by definition, a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He may teach some solid Biblical doctrine, but mixed in with that is false teaching and the behavior of a false teacher. He will remain on the Wolf Alert list.
