According to a 2010 news item, artist Jeri Wyrick has produced a piece of “art” which features a Bible with a warning label that reads, “Warning! May Impair Judgment.” This piece soon found its way into the Sacramento Country Public Law Library in Sacramento, California. Posted next to the piece is an “artist statement” concerning the piece. Artist Jeri Wyrick wrote that she has come to the conclusion “that there must be something about religious faith which renders people stupid.” Since Miss Wyrick did not include a Koran or the Bagavad Gita nor any other religious faith's holy book, it is clear she is referring to Christianity. That the library staff allowed the piece in the first place would indicate they are equally guilty of Christian persecution / oppression as is the artist herself.
