Hillary Clinton Wants Bible Changed to Support Sin & Wants Government to Enforce That Change

4/25/2015

Hillary Clinton has, in the past, made it a point to talk about her connection to God, and to the Bible. She has said, “At the risk of appearing predictable, the Bible was and remains the biggest influence on my thinking. I was raised reading it, memorizing passages from it, and being guided by it,” and “We (she and her family) talked with God, walked with God, ate, studied and argued with God.” As nice as this sounds, in light of her more recent comments, it is clear that she was doing nothing more than giving lip service to people of faith, telling them what she thought they wanted to hear.

On April 23, 2015, in her keynote address at the 2015 Women in the World Summit, 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told attendees that “religious beliefs” that condemn "reproductive rights … have to be changed.” Mrs. Clinton said, “Rights have to exist in practice, not just on paper. Laws have to be backed up with resources, and political will,” she said. “Deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs, and structural biases have to be changed.” What religious beliefs does Mrs. Clinton want changed with said change enforced by the government? According to Mrs. Clinton, “America moves ahead when all women are guaranteed the right to make their own health care choices, not when those choices are taken away by an employer like Hobby Lobby (which is owned by Christians and observes Biblical standards - RPT).” There you have it. If you adhere to the religious belief that abortion is murder, as taught in the Bible, then you and the Bible need to be changed and the government must force and enforce that change, according to Hillary Clinton.

This all being said, I also have to wonder if Mrs. Clinton intends to use the government – especially if elected to the presidency, to force Christians to accept any other sin. Based on her December 2011 speech in Geneva when she said, “most challenging issue arises when people cite religious or cultural values as a reason to violate or not to protect the human rights of LGBT citizens … no [religious] practice or tradition trumps the human rights that belong to all of us,” I think it is clear that she would likely use governmental enforcement to try and take homosexuality off the “sin list” (as NYTimes columnist Frank Bruni puts it).

If you so choose, Dear Reader, to check these quotes out for yourself, you may do so my clicking here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVTiAJ1e9SM (Her comments on religion begin at approximately 8:30), and here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgIe2GKudYY

Law Enforcement Training Resource Targets Christians

4/22/2015

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has built a reputation as the “go to” source for information on hate groups within the United States. Numerous law enforcement agencies and the United States military both utilize the resources presented by the SPLC as training aids and intelligence reports. Although the SPLC rightfully lists groups such as the Ku Klux Klan, White supremacists & separatists, Black supremacists & separatists, So called “Christian” Identity groups, Neo-Confederate groups, Neo-Nazi groups, Holocaust denier groups, (some) racists, and more, as of late this group has now included certain Christian groups because they believe and accept the Bible's teaching that homosexuality is an abominable sin.

The SPLC now includes in it's “Hate Watch” files, Christian groups such as the Family Research Council, the Traditional Values Coalition, the Liberty Counsel (While not necessarily a “Christian” organization, the Liberty Counsel does support and defend Christians and Judeo-Christian values), Truth In Action Ministries (D. James Kennedy Ministries), American Vision – A Biblical Worldview Ministry, Probe Ministries, David Lane – The American Renewal Project and others. The SPLC includes them right along with groups such as those mentioned above as well as the Westboro Baptist Church cult.

Not only does this illustrate the SPLC's complete lack of knowledge or understanding of the definition of Christianity, but also by grouping sound Bible based Christians along with Neo-Nazi's, the Klan, and other hate groups, leads some unbelievers to treat Christians with disdain, disgust, and often open hate such as with the August 2012 domestic terrorism attack on the Family Research Council's Washington, D.C. headquarters by homosexual activist Floyd Corkins. When questioned by the FBI, Corkins stated that he used the SPLC's website to decide who his victims would be. Because the SPLC has listed the Family Research Council (FRC) as a hate group, Corkins entered the FRC headquarters armed with a firearm and more than 90 rounds of ammunition and began shooting at people indiscriminately. He wounded a security guard who was able to subdue him before he killed more people.

In spite of this tragedy, the SPLC has neither apologized for their role in the attack, nor have they apologized to the FRC or the man who was shot during the attack. The SPLC has also failed to take any steps to discourage others from using the information on their website to target any group, and in spite of the fact that Floyd Corkins admitted targeting the FRC for his act of domestic terrorism specifically because the SPLC listed them on their website as a hate group, the SPLC has publicly stated, “our hate map doesn’t cause anybody to attack.”

Christianity Not Allowed At Shawano Community High School

4/19/2015

Picture
When 15 year old Christian student Brandon Wegner, a student at Shawano Community High School in Shawano, Wisconsin, wrote an opinion piece requested by a teacher for his High School newspaper, he was unaware of the persecution he would soon face for his opinion. The school newspaper wanted an article that presented both sides of the homosexual adoption issue. Wegner wrote in opposition and another student wrote in favor of allowing homosexuals to adopt children. Wegner used Scripture to defend his position, including passages from Leviticus that refer to homosexuality as an abomination. When a homosexual couple read the article, they immediately complained to the school district, who in turn immediately issued an apology saying, “Offensive articles cultivating a negative environment of disrespect are not appropriate or condoned by the Shawano School District,” the statement read. “We sincerely apologize to anyone we may have offended and are taking steps to prevent items of this nature from happening in the future.”

The “steps” taken by the school district included having school Superintendent Todd Carlson intimidating and bullying the 15 year old Wegner. During what has been reported as “hours of meetings,” Superintendent Carlson allegedly threatened to suspend Wegner for “violating the school's bullying policy,” as well as telling him that he was personally offended by Wegner's opinions, and that he had “to be one of the most ignorant kids to try to argue” with Carlson about this topic. When Superintendent Carlson gave the student an opportunity to say he regretted expressing his opinion, Wegner stood fast and did not back down in the face of the superintendent's bullying tactics. It is important to note that at no time during the superintendent's intimidating and abusive attack on the student, were the boy's parents notified.

Since the opinion piece was requested by a teacher, and another student wrote in favor of allowing homosexual partners to adopt, the topic itself wasn't objected to. What was considered objectionable by the homosexual couple and the school Superintendent, and what the Brandon Wegner was persecuted for, were the Bible verses used, and Wegner's Christian belief.

Radio Host Mocks God, Christians and Dead Children

4/17/2015

PictureMike Malloy
Radio Host Mocks God, Christians and Dead Children

Mike Malloy is an ultra-far-left “celebrity” who hosts a talk show out of his basement. Given his politics it is understandable that he does not like Independents, Libertarians, Republicans, or much of anyone else, including Christians (he labels his Wednesday shows “Church Night” where he rants against Christians – whom he refers to as “typical brain-dead, vile, pseudo-Christian Neocon 'morans.' [sic]”, and other religious people) and most of all, he hates God. In spite of the fact that he professes to be an atheist, he still hates the God he thinks does not exist. I can't quite understand the logic of that, but then most people cannot understand the “logic” of a hate-theist. In one of his trademark hate-filled rants in March 2012, Malloy began his attack by mocking God, and then mocking Christians who had died when a tornado ripped through their town. Malloy said,

“Their God, if this is the way they want to look at it, keeps smashing them into little grease spots on the pavement, in Alabama, in Mississippi, Arkansas, Georgia and Oklahoma, you know the bible belt.. where they ain’t gonna let no [expletive] science get in the way, it says in the bible blah blah blah, so according to their way of thinking, y’know, God with his omnipotent thumb, and so far tonight, has smashed so far 20 people on highway 12, or whatever the hell highway they live next to..”
Seriously? This man thinks this is funny? Funny enough to mock the deaths of these people? 39 people lost their lives in these storms, including many children, toddlers and infants, and this guy, instead of mourning the deaths of innocent children and babies, he takes their deaths and mocks them as he mocks God.

That this man continues to have a radio/podcast audience as well as advertising sponsors who along with using his hate and mockery to line their pockets with money are in turn lining his pockets, is evidence of the fallen state of this world as well as the acceptability that society now places on open verbal mockery of God and open persecution of Christians.

Colorado Approves Discrimination Against Christians and Christianity

4/16/2015

Colorado Approves Discrimination Against Christians and Christianity

A man enters a bakery in Colorado and orders two cakes, shaped like Bibles, with Bible verses on them. The baker refused to bake the cakes. So the man tries another bakery and is again refused. After the third bakery and the third refusal, the man who had ordered the cakes went to the Colorado Civil Rights Division (CCRD) to file complaints against the three bakeries because the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, makes it unlawful for any place of public accommodation to refuse service to someone based on disability, race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, or ancestry.

Refusing to make two custom cakes that are in the shape of Bibles and which have Bible passages written on them should be a violation of the law. However, the CCRD ruled that all three bakeries had the right to refuse to make the cakes because the two cakes included “derogatory language and imagery.” In this ruling, the State of Colorado has determined that an image of a Bible is “derogatory” and Bible passages are “derogatory language.” What were the Scripture verses that the State of Colorado considered “derogatory? On the first cake, “God hates sin – Psalm 45:7” and “Homosexuality is a detestable sin—Leviticus 18:22” were to be included. On the other cake, the passages to be included were, “God loves sinners” and “While we were yet sinners Christ died for us—Romans 5:8.” The State of Colorado considers both the exposing of sin and God's love and plan for our redemption to be derogatory.

Not too surprising coming from the state that has passed laws designed to regulate the possession or display or printing of the Bible or gospel tracts.

Parental Rights of Christians Limited By State

4/13/2015

In September 2009 The Washington Times reported that a ten-year-old home schooled New Hampshire girl has been court ordered to attend public school. The primary reason given is that the girl and her mother are Christians. District Court Judge Lucinda Sadler said in her decision that the girl's “vigorous defense of her religious beliefs … suggests strongly that she has not had the opportunity to seriously consider any other point of view.” The young girls court appointed guardian ad litem, Janice McLaughlin, said the girl “appeared to reflect the mother’s rigidity on questions of faith,” and that the child would “be best served by exposure to different points of view at a time in her life when she must begin to critically evaluate multiple systems of belief and behavior.”

Perhaps this isn't really happening because the girl and her mother are Christians. Perhaps there is another reason. Except, there isn't. According to court records, the 10 year old girl is a “well adjusted child whose parents were divorced in 1999.” The mother has primary custody and has home schooled the girl for several years in math, English, social studies, science, handwriting, and spelling. Court records also stated that the girl's home schooling has “more than kept up with the academic requirements of the [local] school system.” The girl also takes supplemental public school classes in art, Spanish, theater, and physical education, and is involved in extra-curricular sports such as gymnastics, horseback riding, softball and basketball.

So what this really boils down to is the state disapproves of Christianity and has ordered the girl to be exposed to other religious belief systems. According to court documents, the court appointed guardian ad litem refused to accept critical evidence and key witnesses in the case because they were “connected to Christianity,” and when her mother tried to give Miss McLaughlin home schooling material, McLaughlin reportedly told her, “I don't want to hear it. It's all Christian based.”

At least in New Hampshire, the state will decide what religious beliefs this child will be exposed to, and Christianity will not be one of them.

Anti-Christian Bumper Sticker

4/13/2015

Picture
So Many Christians, So Few Lions bumper sticker. Also available as a T-Shirt and a Button Badge for those who really hate Christianity.

The obvious question here is, what if this bumper sticker read, “So Many Jews, So Few Gas Chambers”? That would obviously be considered a form of anti-Semitic persecution and at least frowned upon, if not considered outright hate speech. Or maybe if the bumper sticker read, “So Many Blacks, So Few Nooses”? Again, it would be considered persecutory and discriminatory, and rightly so. The examples are unlimited in the ways a bumper sticker such as this could be used in a persecutory and or discriminatory manner against women, homosexuals, disabled people, etc. However, when Christians are persecuted in this manner it is generally considered acceptable, or at least “okay.”

Anti-Christian "Artwork" At Sacramento Law Library

4/13/2015

According to a 2010 news item, artist Jeri Wyrick has produced a piece of “art” which features a Bible with a warning label that reads, “Warning! May Impair Judgment.” This piece soon found its way into the Sacramento Country Public Law Library in Sacramento, California. Posted next to the piece is an “artist statement” concerning the piece. Artist Jeri Wyrick wrote that she has come to the conclusion “that there must be something about religious faith which renders people stupid.” Since Miss Wyrick did not include a Koran or the Bagavad Gita nor any other religious faith's holy book, it is clear she is referring to Christianity. That the library staff allowed the piece in the first place would indicate they are equally guilty of Christian persecution / oppression as is the artist herself.

No Christian Expression Outside of Church and Home

4/13/2015

In January 2015, New York Times columnist Frank Bruni wrote an Op Ed piece he titled, “Your God and My Dignity – Religious Liberty, Bigotry and Gays.”

As the title implies, Mr. Bruni used his article to attack Christians. He begins by trotting out the term “Christian Fundamentalist” and using it to denigrate those who are, in Mr. Bruni's eyes, intolerant of homosexuality. Of course, a “Christian Fundamentalist” is one who believes the Bible to be the inerrant word of God, and, who believe it to be the sole and completely sufficient authority in spiritual matters. In that sense, Mr. Bruni is correct – that Christian Fundamentalists do believe that homosexuality is a sin, but what Mr. Bruni does not realize or understand, is that Christian Fundamentalists – those that believe the Bible – do not condemn homosexuals any more than they condemn any other sinner, primarily because they realize that they themselves are sinners as well, but sinners saved by the grace of God.

This is apparently irrelevant to Mr. Bruni, however, as he endeavors to marginalize Christians by being as intolerant of Christian beliefs as he imagines Christians are of homosexuals. Although Mr. Bruni goes on to say that he “respect[s] people of faith. I salute the extraordinary works of compassion and social justice that many of them and many of their churches do. And I support the right of people to believe what they do and say what they wish …” That being said, however, Mr. Bruni betrays his real feelings when he states that Christian beliefs should be limited to church and home, and then he promises that those who take their beliefs and act upon them as Christians are required to do, that they will then have to contend with him.

Mr. Bruni also ratchets up his rhetoric when he compares Christians to Islamic terror groups such as Al Qaeda, Boko Haram and ISIS by referring to Christians as “religious extremists,” and thus fosters and foments the idea that Christianity it evil. He takes this stance of his a step further when he says, “They don’t get to single out one group of supposed sinners [homosexuals]. If they’re allowed to, who’s to say they’ll stop at that group?” This sounds like a thinly veiled reference to Martin Niemöller's “First they came for the Socialists” quote in which he was speaking of Hitler's Nazi's going after one societal group and then another and then another.

Although Mr. Bruni is only one person, and it could be said he is merely expressing his opinions – his First Amendment right to free speech (the same free speech right Mr. Bruni seeks to take away from Christians). However, a look at the comments section in this and similar articles, one can easily see that Mr. Bruni's “opinions” are held by a lot of people. Couple that with his national and via the internet, international audience, it is clear that Mr. Bruni is fanning the flames of hate – hate of Christians.
